Book Buffet Extravanganza

Are you looking for a creative way to inspire kids to read? I recently attended a 4th grade book buffet. This project was a creative alternative to the traditional “book report” assignment. These students were required to read a mystery story and had to showcase their book reports through a book buffet. These book reports had to include the following information: the title, author, genre, characters and explanation of character traits, plot/summary and their opinion about the book.

These  projects not only showcased their knowledge of the book but they also demonstrated creativity, imagination and originality! These fourth graders inspired others with their passion for reading and art!

Take a peek at these masterpieces and judge for yourself!
